All costs are for the Tire Pro Repair shop that is right outside our apartment complex, that is working with us to make sure we are not without a vehicle and need shuttle service as it literally is a two minute walk away! We only have the one vehicle so convenience is an absolute must for us!!!!
I have to say I love this truck and we have already dumped everything we can into it, and I will not
stop till it is great working condition once again! We have already put over 4,000.00 into it. We paid 3,000.00 for a truck supposedly with a new engine. Now we are out 4,000.00 and a vehicle. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello to all from the Wright family! Before I get into the nitty gritty of why we need help. let me first introduce ourselves to you. My husband and I (Melissa and Brandon) have 3 beautiful children together, and there are three more of his not at home (they've grown up or live with mom). The three at home are Bevan, Amalee, and Connor--ages 7, 5, and 3. My husband's mother, Connie, also resides with us. As you can see, we have quite the family dynamic! Okay now on to the nitty gritty...
This is not something we normally do, but something that was actually suggested to us, so here we are asking complete strangers for help (haha!).
Let me also give you a little background to our financial side so you understand what is going on there. I am a college student, and have had a difficult time finding jobs that weren't temporary, or are willing to work with changing availability. However, I do work independently from home selling AVON, and am working on turning it into a successful business. It is just not enough income yet to pay the bills. My husband is disabled and has been fighting for disability for the past 5+ years now, and cannot work. My mother-in-law is retired, but she does also work part-time to keep busy. There you have it! That is our financial situation as of right now.
We have managed to get into a federally funded, low-income 3 bedroom apartment. Our van blew up and left us without a vehicle. Luckily our taxes came in and we got a federal student dispersement check (that the school is saying we owe back to them now) and we bought a 1999 Ford Expedition XLT. It's a very nice SUV, however the previous owner did not disclose everything that needed to be fixed.
We have not had a price on the last ones, we ran out of money. I figure it will take around 5,000.00 to get it back in good running condition.
Lastly, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read through this. Any kind of help that we can get is greatly appreciated and will not go unnoticed. :) Have a blessed day!

Update posted by Brandon Wright at 10:08 pmI have given to help others all my life, whenever I have needed help. The world turns its back on me. I have struggled with accepting the world has been taken over by Greed, Corruption and Evil. I give up, I accept the absolute fact there is no such thing. . . . .
