Save Our School (SOS)

In our village in India lies a school in horrific conditions and in dire need of an upgrade. Just 2 weeks ago they didn't have water and would go days on end with absolutely nothing to quench their thirst. Upon finding out their conditions, We raised SGD 5,000, to build a water source for them. It took just 15 days, to dig a hole, insert pipings into the ground and install a motor to bring the water up to the surface. Now they have fresh water 24/7.

These children do not have proper furniture to sit on and study, they sit on the floor as the teacher conducts the class. They lack the study materials and in fact don't even have an english teacher. The buildings are torn and worn down. Outside is just as worse with nothing but bare sand and dirt.

Many parents are withdrawing their children from the school due to its poor facilities. With an increase rate of withdrawals, this school will be likely to close down in the next 12 months unless we do something about it.

We want to create a better learning environment for these children, and with your help we can rebuild this school to be conducive for learning and a joy to be in. We wish to buy new furnitures, built a playground, create a library, hire an english teacher, mend the broken walls and roof and rebuild this school from the ground up.
