A DREAM MADE REALITY:

Hello everyone, my name is George Keller and I've always wanted to get into the world of anime. Since I was a small child I would binge watch my favorite anime series till 11:00pm; which was late for a 9 year old. I always wondered what it would be like to make one, or star in one. It wasn't until I entered college that I began to realize that I could make my dream a reality. Now with an arts degree, and years of experience in drawing and illustration behind me. I am ready to tackle my very first project.

I wanted to create an anime, but not just any anime. I wanted this anime to capture the heart, inspiration, and excitement of the anime I saw in the past. Anime like Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, Evangelion etc. But after a little research I found that visual novels gave the creator the ability to flesh out his or her story to the fullest. While also giving its players the option to choose between different paths. I loved the idea very much, so I decided that my first project would be to create a visual novel. Perhaps if this visual novel were to catch on I might adapt it into an anime at a later date.

FIRST PROJECT- MYNERIA:

The visual novel I chose is called, Myneria. It tells the tale of three brothers whom move into a new house which hides an incredible secret. Hidden within the home is the entrance to another universe, specifically the planet of Myneria. In this world everything we thought was legend or fantasy is real. Almost commonplace in some ways. From mounted unicorns, to flying dragons decorated with ornate armor, to elves that sing through the trees to the harbor below. The world of Myernia is filled with beings of beauty and fantasy. The three brothers are thrust into this magical world, unaware of the dangers that also hide within in it. Many of the nations are at war with one another, and danger lurks behind every corner. Can these brothers survive the world of Myneria and become legends? Or will they perish from the untold dangers ahead of them, you decide.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

The immediate hurdle is of course finding enough funds to pay for the programmers, concept artists, artists, musicians, and actors to come aboard.

Here is a breakdown of where the funds are going.

1. 10% to Gogetfunding. ($2,228)

Gogetfunding receives 10% of the total amount funded.

2. 10% state and federal taxes. ($2,228)

As you all know state and federal taxes will demand 10% of the earned funds.

3. 50% hiring programmers ($6,480)

At $18 an hour we will be able to hire 3 part time programmers to help us with the renpy coding and implementation. $18/hour x 3 programmers x 120 hours =$6,480.

4. 25% hiring muscians and composer ($4,220)

Most of the composers we have seen have a total fee for the entire package. ($1500 on average). Add to that 8 live muscians at $17 an hour for an average 20 hours =$2,720.

5. 5% hiring actors (the rest of payment is deferred) ($5,150)

Finally our actors will be paid a flat fee for their roles.

$500 per lead (3)

$250 per supporting role (9)

$100 per major speaking role (14)

= $5,150

Grand Total of $22,284

Any donation, however small, is very much welcome. For if 22,284 people gave a single dollar, then the project would be fully funded.
