Gabe and Honey Accident Gift

Hi Everyone,

As you may have heard, my parents, Gabe and Honey were in a motorcycle accident last Friday and my Mom ended up having to be airlifted to the hospital with a broken collarbone, a broken rib and a punctured lung as well as other scrapes and scratches. Gabe had the large touring motorcycle they were riding land on his ankle and he was also taken to hospital as they thought it was broken but luckily it ended up just being severely sprained. See picture. They were waring safety gear as well as helmets and that played a big part in them not getting more seriously injured.

We are all so relieved that they are back home now and that they are both recovering well and and in good spirits and we are so thankful as things could have easily been a lot worse.

I wanted to start this fundraiser for them as they are both going to have to be off their feet to recover for at least a couple weeks and they are also having to contend with all the paperwork and legal and medical expenses so we wanted to make it possible for people to help out in some way as they get back on their feet.

They have been a big help and encouragement to many people along the way and if you can put something towards this it would make a big difference for them.

Thanks again to everyone who has written, called and texted and I am also putting this up for all those who have asked if there was something like this setup so they can give something financially. The main issue that they are contending with right away being that they are both not able to work while they recover so we are trying to at least help them in this respect.
