Campaign Story
Mario Mohammed is now home from hospital and slowly progressing in the comfort of his home. Many of you have lovingly contributed to Mario's wellbeing and the family is sincerely grateful to you all. Some have chosen to remain anonymous and although a few received personal thank you notes the family is equally grateful to all. After sustaining multiple injuries in his motorbike accident, Mario still has a long road ahead towards his recovery and the most stressful part for the family is being able to cover his medical bills. Mario is still suffering after sustaining serious injuries to his ribs, collarbone and leg and requires extensive treatment to his hands which are non functional at this stage. Mario's wife has had to drop everything to care for him and at this stage we are uncertain when he will be able to return to his daily duties as the sole provider for his family and home. Please continue to help and let's all try and relieve the family of the heavy burden of medical debt and thus allow Mario the opportunity to recover to full bodily health and strength. Every little bit counts so I thank you in advance.

Mario is now home to recover and has to report to hospital regularly for dressing, physiotherapy and extensive care to his hands and leg. He still suffers much pain from the broken ribs and collarbone but have no doubt he'll make. . . . .

Update on Yesterdays operation

I will be speaking to the docs this morning and getting and update on his present condition....Once again thank you for everyone who has contributed....

Would like to say thanks to everyone once again for all your support throughout this journey with Mario and his family. Just a briefing on Mario Mohammed condition. Mario is fighting real hard to recover although slowly progressing, he is still in a great deal of pain. Mario is hoping not to have further surgery on his hands and leg but will only know after the wounds start healing. His ribs and collar bone are still causing a great deal of pain but Mario is a real fighter and is determined to recover as quickly as he possibly can. He’s undergoing physio and occupational therapy on a regular basis. I appeal to you to keep him in your prayers as he still has a long and painful journey ahead.
