On March 18, 2016, the Lord called Blake Freeburg home. He always loved his only son, Ethan, and strove to pay for his college education. In his loving memory, we assemble this campaign to raise money for Ethan's college expenses.

This campaign is now closed. Thank you to everyone for your support.

  • Ethan, your father was a friend to be counted on from 6th grade onward, even though we only had contact sporadically in recent years. It was when my own mother died I realized how much of her was in me. I hope you see the same in yourself and it gives you strength. My deepest sympathies go to you, your mother, and your father's family.

A Final Thank You

The Freeburg family, and especially Ethan, deeply thanks all of you for your support in this difficult time. We again are reassured that Blake is happily communing with the Lord now. This money will be used to pay for the college expenses of Ethan as he pursues his Chemical Engineering

  • Ethan, you dad was an amazing guy. We started an import business together and invested countless hours into Chinese students here and abroad. He loved you and wanted you to learn from him continuously. As I sat and listened to you at the funeral - I couldn't help but to think that Blake would have been proud of your words. I can only wish that my son will honor me the way you did your dad. Be strong and continue to make disciples - the only investment that is eternal.
