Campaign Story
My name is Rebel. I was born in Mississippi. Life seemed to be great until my owners realized that I had a crippled leg and I was put out on the streets to fend for myself. Somehow I managed to get by that first year of my life. I picked up some friends during that time. Their names were intestinal parasites, heartworm and anorexia. They weren’t the best of friends.
When a local rescue found me they treated me for six months to rid me of my “friends” . I also got into a great foster home in Wisconsin that fell in love with me and adopted me! They are committed to helping me get my leg surgically fixed. I was born with this crippled leg, and unfortunately being mostly Basset Hound, I need BOTH my front legs to bear weight. I want to be able to run and play like friends without having pain. My new family is need of help in raising funds to get my leg fixed. Any help that you can give would be greatly appreciated.
