Fund Lily

Fundraising for Lily's physio and medical equipment.

Lilyana is suffering with Cerebral Palsy. It is incurable disease, but still, with an appropriate therapy there is a big chance for improvement. Paralysis occurred by hypoxia of the brain during complications in childbirth. Lily was born dead . After 10 minutes her heart began to beat, but she could not breath on her own for 9 days, she was incubated and it succeeded. On the ninth day Lily began to breath properly, now she lives and is with us. As an infant Lily suffered with meningitis and epilepsy. Now this little girl is 16 months old and is under the care of neurologist and pediatrician. Lilys physical ability is limited, due to intensive exercise she can now sit up without any help, but is still unable to do many tasks such as crawling, standing up, standing on her own, correct hand grasping, walking and many more. Lily needs regular care of physiotherapist who can help her limit motor paresis to a minimum. Without intensive physio Lily has no chance to live normal life. One hour with physiotherapist costs 40 pounds and because of such a large amount we are not able to pay for more regular exercises with a specialist which she needs to progress in life. In addition to this Lily needs a speech therapist who can help raise her ability to communicate with the environment. As she grows older Lily will also need help of specialists such as psychologist, occupational therapist and many others. According to neurologist Lily may also have learning difficulty. We are doing everything in our power to help her, but family and friends on their own are not able to provide sufficient care and treatment.We ask for financial help of any, even small donation as it would help us pay for all physio-therapies and medical equipment.
