Roxy’s Adventurous Student Trip

Roxy had the first opportunity this year in April to attend her first Geography trip with her grade and certainly must have been the worst trip ever after having to call my daughter on the top of Table Mountain in Cape Town to break the unthinkable news that her father had passed away. We all know how tough this has been for her and our family and this is why I am so determined to ensure that we can make this trip with her same Geography teacher a reality. I truly believe that this will be a life changing experience for Roxanne and even if she takes one positive out of this trip I would truly be grateful.

I am calling out to all friends and family to please assist me in making this dream come true for Roxy and ensure that another one of her dreams are ticked off her bucket list and ensure that this will be a journey of a lifetime. Thank you to everyone for all the inspiration, support and determination to keep our spirituality alive - I have no doubt Vincent is watching over us and guiding us through this process.

This is an adventurous experiential learning journey that are designed for students between the ages of 15 and 21 to participate in. These journeys are an organic form of life coaching: combining personal and group coaching with experiences, we work with young people in identifying their inner strengths, dreams and visions. Taking people out of their comfort zones facilitates personal growth and our experiential learning journeys are a unique addition to our meaning-centred life coaching workshops. The entire journey acts as a life coaching workshop where the change in environment pushes people to re-examine their core beliefs, principles and values, and to discover their purpose and meaning in life.

TEACH ENGLISH TO TIBETAN MONKS IN JUNE 2016 SCHOOL HOLIDAYS:

In Dharamsala, India – home of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama – do volunteer work within the Tibetan exile community. Learn about an ancient culture and interact with monks, lamas and other Tibetans on a journey that will force you to re-evaluate your priorities, meaning and purpose. This also qualifies as a Gold Residential Project in the Presidential Awards.

Roxy will be taken on a personal development journey during which she will get the opportunity to:

• Meet monks, government officials and ex-political prisoners;
• Teach English in the Tibetan Refugee School;
• Learn about the Tibetan political situation;
• See the Taj Mahal;
• Have English conversation classes with Tibetan monks.

This trip is truly unique because of the people that participants will be able to meet and converse with; the life coaching sessions are included in the cost and will take place every day as participants experience all that the changed environment has to offer.
