Campaign Story
If you are a friend of Bill W. in the Denver area, you are likely a friend of Jerry Tarnowski. Jerry has dedicated much of his life to reaching the hand of recovery and friendship out to so many of us. Now it is he who needs the helping hand.
Jerry is in need of a double lung transplant. His life, literally, depends on it. Fortunately, he has qualified for this procedure and is on a list to receive this precious gift. He has insurance to cover the operation, but because of his debilitating lung disease, Jerry has not been able to work for quite some time. If he is lucky enough to get a transplant, he will likely not be able to work for another year.
In the meantime, the bills continue to pile up! Jerry has applied for what assistance he is entitled to, but we would like to help him meet his expenses over the next several months until he gets back on his feet.
