Join in the restoration and rebuilding of Long Island Bahamas. The southern islands of The Bahamas was decimated by Hurricane Joaquin, a slow moving cat 4 tropical storm. Homes have been flooded, destroyed or washed away. Schools are devastated and need restoration. Lives have been shattered and personal belongings swept away. There is a great need for food, water, clothing, building supplies and every day items.
Our goal is to raise $100,000 dollars to aid in the rebuilding of the Southern Communities of Long Island, The Bahamas. We need to rebuild and restore. No donation is too small to aid in rebuilding the lives of Long Islanders. All monies would be used to purchase and distribute supplies and also to help with other organizations designated to the rebuilding of Long Island.
We wish to thank all of you that have made donations so far. Thank you USA, UN, UK, Royal Bahamas Defense Force, Royal Bahamas Police Force, private organizations, business, volunteers and everyone who has contributed to bringing relief and donations to Long Island.
This fundraising is hosted by THE LONG ISLAND RUNNER NEWS, Long Island Bahamas FB and organized by Bianca Major.

To all friends, relatives and family in Long Island. Kindly accept my small donation as a token of my friendship. I would rather be with you to help but unfortunately this is not possible at the time. My thoughts are with you all, especially John and Eloise Knowles fom Clarence Town and all of the Turnquests. Also to all the people I met in Long Island some years ago and who's names I cannot remember... :) Keep up te good spirits!
