Campaign Story
A Doctor in need.
My name is Deji Adewola and I will be participating in this year’s Henley 13.1 Miles Half Marathon, taking place at Oxfordshire, UK (http://www.rotary-ribi.org/clubs/page.php?PgID=333...) on Sunday 11th October with my sister - Jummy Adewola Awoseyila, to raise money for my very good friend in Nigeria, Amina, who needs a new kidney. Please support and sponsor us by donating, every donation is a massive contribution to saving Amina's life!
Profile
Dr. Amina Ogachi Sobodu is a 28 years old friend who graduated from college of medicine in my home country Nigeria two years ago (You may have seen her pictures floating on social media). She has battled with sickle cell disease all her life and now she has chronic kidney disease as a result of chronic hypertension complicated by sickle cell disease. Her condition has deteriorated to the extent that she now has dialysis three times a week. She needs a kidney transplant urgently. We are trying to raise 16,000 pounds (5 Million Naira) for her as soon as possible; her dad is late and her mum is retired and bearing the entire burden with no salary or pension.
If you know Amina personally, you know that words can’t do this exceptional young lady justice. Please think about how a lady like Amina can affect your life; she has helped so many of her patients during her short career working as a Doctor. Please know that a contribution to Amina’s Medical Fund will be in effort to help a daughter, a wife, a friend, a doctor, and a remarkable person get back on her feet.
Amina is an incredible person who has touched many lives of so many people hence the start of this page so vital funds can be donated. We know you owe her nothing but we would greatly appreciate it if you could help donate and send a message to people out there to help donate as well and also pray for her. Nothing is too small, if there is anyone who knows an NGO that can help, that would also be of immense help too.
All donations will be paid directly to her Amina so please click the Donate Now button.
