This trip means the World to me. For many years, I have been dedicated to my Church, North Coast Calvary Chapel. In July, we will be travelling to Kenya working on a few projects and helping the community of fellow Christians. For The Goat Project, we will spend days building Goat pens in Hawa. This enables the families in the community to get supplemental income as well as boost their dietary needs. Only a couple of Goats can significantly benefit an ENTIRE family! 1,000,000 Project: We will also spend time planting trees in the Ng'undu community. Our vision for this project is to help reforest the local community and connect them to their surrounding environment by planting 1,000,000 trees! 20,000 have already been planted and we hope to add to that number! We also have Kid's Games and as we know Sports are a universal language! They are also an EFFECTIVE TOOL for evangelism and a powerful medium for Gospel. We will have two days of Kid's games, connecting the children of The Tumaini Children's Home in Nairobi and share sports AND the LOVE OF GOD. Your prayers and donations are overwhelming appreciated. I am a giving, Christian Grandma and Mother! I spent my carer with the phone company and once I retired and lost my husband, started caring for each of my grandchildren. I am very involved in my Church and now have the opportunity to give back by going on a Mission to Africa. We plan to spend time with the Orphans and share the Lord with them, build Goat Pens to help house and feed families. Bring and share sports with the children, plan hundreds of trees in the Rain Forest. I have worked all my life, raised my three children alone and never had the opportunity to travel, let alone help the people and children in Africa who need our generosity. I am beyond excited for this journey. Please help me raise enough money to help the Church cover the costs of this Mission.
