Festival of Change/Festivalul Schimbarii

Hello dear friends,

We are addressing to everyone who believes that a big change can be made by small steps, such as this one.

We are A.R.T. Fusion, a nongovernmental association from Bucharest, Romania. We deal with projects for social responsibility and global education, because we want to activate everybody to be aware and responsible of their role to produce change by solving community problems. How do we succeed? By using non-formal education activities, such as Living Library, Street Campaigns, Forum Theatre/Image Theatre and Global Education.  Often, trying to create social waves can be difficult but it’s worth doing it because it challenges us to try more.  We do believe in active citizens who can make great things for their community.

On 26 and 27 of July 2014, we will organize in Bucharest, The Festival of Change, which is a new concept, at first edition where we want to gather above 500 participants. Our aim is to produce change in people’s minds; we want them to become responsible of their power to come up with solutions to social and global problems and to be active in their community. With your contribution we will manage to buy all materials for the Festival’s activities (food and transport for volunteers and promoting materials). Among all our activities (Street Campaigns, Living Library, Forum Theatre/Image Theatre and Global Education Workshops), during the Festival, we want to organize documentary nights, photo exhibitions and games.

Ne adres?m tuturor celor care cred c? prin pa?i mici asemeni celui f?cut de noi, se pot face schimb?ri mari. Noi suntem A.R.T. Fusion, o organiza?ie nonguvernamental? din Bucure?ti, România. Gestion?m proiecte de responsabilizare social? ?i educa?ie global?, pentru c? dorim s? determin?m fiecare individ s? devin? responsabil ?i con?tient de rolul lui ca agent al schimb?rii în comunitate. Cum reu?im acest lucru? Prin activit??i de educa?ie nonformal? ca Biblioteca Vie, Campanii Stradale, Teatru Forum/Teatru Imagine ?i Educa?ie Global?. Uneori poate fi dificil s? “produci valuri de schimbare”, îns? ne punem toate eforturile împreun? întrucât consider?m c? fiecare dintre noi poate s? produc? schimbare în comunitate.

În perioada 26-27 Iulie 2014, vom organiza Festivalul Schimb?rii, care este la prima edi?ie ?i dorim s? avem peste 500 participan?i. Scopul nostru este s? producem schimbare în mentalitatea oamenilor: vrem s? îi facem con?tien?i de capacitatea lor de a produce schimbare în comunitate ?i s? îi facem responsabili de acest rol. Prin contribu?ia voastr?, vom cump?ra toate materialele necesare în organizarea Festivalului (ca de exemplu, mâncare ?i asigurarea transportului pentru voluntari ?i materiale de birotic?). Pe lâng? activit??ile pe care noi le derul?m (Biblioteca Vie, Campanii Stradale, Teatru Forum/Teatru Imagine ?i Educa?ie Global?), vom organiza seri de documentare, expozi?ie foto ?i jocuri.
