Fundraising campaign by

US$340.00raised of $10,000.00 goal goal
Increased population, unemployment in rural areas and perceived existence of economic opportunities in urban areas causes rural urban migration but unfortunately most of the people who migrate to uerban areas soon find that there are few employment opportunities and therefore end up living in slum and working in informal sector due to lack of proper skills to secure decent jobs.
Data reveals that Kibera have a population of over one million people living in square kilometer of 2.5 with majority living under the poverty line of $2 a day. therefore poverty in slum area translate into poor education facilities which tend to demotivate children from attending school thus leading to rampant school dropout as a result of poor performance. Also deteriorating situation of poverty in Kibera has resulted in relatively high prevalence of child labor to supplement the meager family income . This hence have impacted negatively especially on girl child who are more vulnerable than boys as they end up being raped and getting pregnant at an early age or engage or engage in vices like prostitution for food , abortion , drug abuse or turn to street life,
Therefore supporting this fundraising will not only help in securing the future of this needy children but will also curb the effect of early pregnancies among teenage girls and reduce cases of insecurity and drug abuse and many other vices related to child labor as the fund targets to benefit two hundred children and the funds we go towards securing their education buying basic necessities like school uniforms, schoolbags, stationary, sanitary towels.
Thank you for supporting us on this noble journey and be blessed
