My name is Kimberly, I'm an undergraduate student studying International Studies at the University of Wyoming.

This is mostly for my family and friends to use as my birthday and Christmas are both coming up (but hey, if a stranger wants to fund me, who am I to oppose?). I'm using my personal salary for the next few months to fund this trip as well, but any help would be amazing!

I'm taking a trip with EDventure International to Cambodia next summer! This program lets college kids go to several foreign countries and do service projects for 3 weeks, as well as become immersed in another culture.

The cost breakdown looks like this:

$3,300    - EDventure program cost (food, accommodations, supplies)

$37         - Cambodian Visa

$140       - US Passport and Passport card

$1,500    - Roundtrip flights to Siem Reap

$ ?          - International health & travel insurance (need to get more info on these costs)

$ ?          - Vaccines (getting more info; none are required, but some are recommended)

$100       - extra spending money

If I raise more money than I need, which I severely doubt, the rest will go toward my tuition costs next semester.

If my trip gets cancelled for some reason, the organization will put the funding toward a future trip.

Just FYI This website charges a 4% fee for every donation, and PayPal takes another 2.9% + $0.30 for every donation; therefore, the following are a few examples on what I actually get from an amount you donate: (Your donation ... Amount I actually recieve) $10 ... $9.01 $20 ...

Vaccines and Medication (Part 1)

Update posted by myhuma at 10:33 pm

I did some intensive research the last few days on vaccines and health risks when travelling in Cambodia. While there are no required vaccines to travel to Cambodia that are not already required in the US, the CDC does have a list of recommended vaccines and medication that you should
