In desperate need, please help!

i am a medically discharged, disabled veteran. i was honorably removed from the Army in 2011 due to injuries sustained while deployed. I can no longer work at all. since then, i have been fighting for my disability from the VA. Unfortunately, they have changed the way that they process their claims. When i got out, i had to put in my claim and basically just wait for them to approve it. Now, anyone that gets medically discharged, gets their claims put in and settled before they leave the Army so they take priority. It has been 4 years of me fighting for my disability. I have lost everything (and my credit has been destroyed because of it) except for my house and have only kept it because my friends and family were able to help a little bit. unfortunately, nobody can help anymore. I am finally getting my disability but am way behind in my house payment and am in danger of being foreclosed on. the bank states the only way to stop it is to come up with the full past due amount. I have a wife and son and i have exhausted every resource that i have. I just don't know what to do. I even tried finding a place to rent and letting the house go but since i had no income for 4 years, and my credit is destroyed, nobody wants to take a chance on me. Even if i do get foreclosed on, i will have to come up with massive amounts of money in order to pay all the normal move in rates as well as pay up to 6-8 months of rent in advance in order for ANY rental agency to take a chance on me and let me rent somewhere due to my credit rating now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am at my wits end, completely feel lost and defeated, and just don't know what else to do anymore. This is not something i would ever think about doing normally but i just don't know where else to turn. Please help if you can.
