Dear friends,
This is the boring but necessary bit. My accounts. Luckily I don't have to do my own accounts, someone does them for me. This is good because I can only count up to 4 - or 5 if I use my tail - or 6 if I include my new nose also.
But my operation bills are slightly higher than 6 rupees.
You can see my bills and receipts so far at the photo album below.
Ok, I'm going back to do something more entertaining now, like maybe chew a chew bone or fall asleep. :)

Dear everyone and everytwos,
I can smell again! I am smelling everything I can. Sometimes I like to sit and just sniff the air deeply.
It is two years since I was last smelling things.

Especially thanks to Laura and Karen who have supported me with donations in the last few days. I go for my operation on Monday. Me and cook and The-Man-Who-Feeds-Us-Chicken are nervous happy.
They say they will miss me and worry about me when I am not with them and they won't sleep properly at night without me snoring and snuffling and snorting on my Tom & Jerry quilt in my Sitting Room.
Oh things are happening so fastly!
But I will be in the care of Dr Kiran at Tailwagger Vets so I will be ok.
And also I have so many troubles breathing so I need to go for my operation as soon as I can.
I want to tell you all my supporters that you can follow my progress here: https://www.facebook.com/giveadoganose

I go to the beach a lot. When I have my operation I will have to take a break from the beach for a while until my new nose heals.
So I is making the most of it while I can. These are all my bitches playing with me and cooling off in the rabid sea. The sea has had no rabies innoculation so every monsoon it goes crazy and slavers and slobbers a lot and attacks everyone with its waves.
Then it goes back to normal for tourist season.
We have only one other male dog here. He is called Lightening and is the black and white dog in the distance with the short tail. He barks a lot, and even though he has private sponsor and feeder to look after him during monsoon, he likes to come with us on walks so he can bark many times and eat a few dog biscuits that get spilled.

This is one of my bitches, Mama Mia/Poopie/Bert/Sindy/Cindy, one of the feeding fund dogs, having a mad moment when she wants to play. All her friends on the feeding fund join in, including me, but when the play gets too intense for her - most of us friend dogs are bigger than her and get too excited - she runs over for a little protection from the cook.

She has protection whenever she wants, as do all us dogs. We all love each other really.

Dear everyone and everytwo,
Cook says I may soon take the first breath through my nose in over two years. Maybe even by end of this month August.

I will be under anesthesia when I do, so I may miss it for sleeping and dreaming of the beach. But I know my friends like Dr Kiran vet of Tailwaggerz Vets will be there to see it, and they will hold the happy memory for me. Then when I wake up I will be breathing like proper dog again and breath will not be so hard for me anymore and my heart won't be so stressed and constricted anymore and I won't get any more infections in my head.

But there is a lot of work to go before and after operation, long time treatments for a few months, but things are now starting to happen and go ahead thanks to all your support of my "Give A Dog A Nose" operation fund.

I am now on pre-operation antibiotics for 2 weeks to mend my eye and ear infections that are caused by having blocked nose and sinuses. I've also had all my annual innoculations, so, for instance, I don't get rabies and go crazy and slobber over everyone.

Actuallys I slobber over everyones anyway, but that is love and affection.

Then in around 2 weeks I will start my operations.

I got two new presents to help me. First was a HUGE anti-skid feeding bowl with sloped edges for easy eating of my food when my new nose is sore and delicate.

Second was... well, I will tell you tomorrow and post photo when I tell you all about my pre-operation visit to Tailwaggerz Vets which happened on Tuesday.

Below: My new feeding bowl. It's bigger than my head!

Dear everyone and everytwo,

Cook says she has caught a cold. She says she knows now what it feels like to be me, unable to breathe through nose. I do not understand why she bothered to catch a cold - why didn't she catch a rat or fly or ball or one of those plenty other things that don't cause any nose problems?

So my friends, a little advice from me Tipu Dog:

Do not try attempt to catch colds or leopards. Colds and leopards are best left alone in the wild. They do nothing good at all when caught but only close your noses and make you unable to breathe.

Flies and balls and mosquitos and party balloons are safe options to catch instead, although the balloons do tend to go *POP*.

I have lots of wonderfulfilling news from today but it involved long taxi journey there and back to a far place and lots of new interesting taxi window views and people persons and things so I am too tired to write until I get up again in the morning which is very soon.

Wags and more snores until then, Tipu Dog
