Meet our dog Dana, throughout these last months, she has developed some mammary tumors. In the begninning they first mentioned to us that they were benign, but right now she really needs surgery to extirpate the tumors. The surgery costs around $6000 MX pesos plus treatment. That's why the goal is around 500 dollars.
Who's Dana?"
#Danabanana is a 10 year old beagle, shes not just a pet in the house, she and her daughter Fryda are just like any other family memeber. They both brought light and harmony to our house when the family situation wasn't quite good. That's why we cannot let her down, and we feel powerless for not being able to give her the medical attention she needs.
"What does she need?"
A surgery to remove her mammary glands.
"Why the deadline?"
Due the size of the tumor, she needs the operation in three months or less, so that's why we put 3 months as the deadline.
"What would happen if the fundraising does not raise the money needed?"
We still have three months and a very positive attitude, but in case we don't raise it, we will take what the people have donated and see what else we can do to raise the rest of the money. As we mentioned above, Dana is a part of our family and we won't let her stay like that; when she suffers, we suffer as well.
"In case you raise more money than what you asked for, what would you do with it?"
Because there isn't any governmental help for pets or stray animals, we are disposed to donate the exceeded amount to non-profit organizations for skin treatments (such as fleas and deworming control), and baths for stray dogs.
"How do we know what you are saying is true?"
We recently made an instagram acount of our two dogs, where you can see them play and do their daily stuff. We will make sure to keep it updated with pictures of Dana through all this process, and even post pictures of what we'll do with the exceeded amount if we get to raise it.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this, and we are grateful to have this oppotunity to share Dana's situation. God bless you all.

Hello Dana and Family, I was really touched by your story and couldn't imagine not being able to help my own dog (who I've also had for 10 years). I'm sorry that the donation is small but it's all I have left in my bank account! I promise to be back again soon. Good luck, Your Australian friends Jasmine and Molly (the shih-tzu)
