This collection has been created in memory of Amy Lancashire and her baby girl Zahra. Along with this donations page there is a Family Fun Day Fundraiser event planned in memory of both mother and daughter who are now reunited again in heaven. We are fundraising in memory of my goddaughter Zahra who sadly died at twenty five days old on 11th April 2012. It is also in memory of her mother and our wonderful friend, local  Armley girl, Amy Lancashire, who tragically was killed herself as she was crossing Kirkstall road on September 10th 2014 at the young age of twenty three years old. It was awful for Amy at the tender age of twenty years to lose her beautiful baby girl as it was for all her family and friends to lose our beloved Zahra but for Amy to then be taken away just over two years later was a horrible tragedy. Amy was devastated when Zahra died as we all were but just as she was getting back on track after Zahra's sudden death she was cruelly taken also.

Together we are fundraising to raise money for a memorial plaque for Amy and Zahra as well as raising money for The Lullaby Trust charity. All proceeds raised will be split equally between The Lullaby Trust and Amy's family for a joint memorial plaque for Amy and her baby girl Zahra. The memorial plaque will be situated in the same graveyard that her baby girl is buried in so Amy will be remembered as her mother whilst remembering our little angel Zahra. Now that they are both reunited together in heaven, providing a plaque to honor Amy and Zahra would mean that they are both together and remembered in the same place. We have  planned a family fun day with a bouncy castle, face painting, food, stalls and games. The event will be on Saturday 30th May 2015 1pm-5pm at the West Leeds Sports and Social Club, Leeds, LS12. There is also a licensed bar at the fundraiser events venue.

At Amy's funeral there was a collection box for The Lullaby Trust as the family and friends knew this was a charity close to Amy's heart from the tender age of 20 years old when she lost Zahra. Amy's story has made everyone close to her value life and live every day. The Lullaby Trust and the work they do is  invaluable that is why we would like to show our support so they can carry on their work as no parent or family should experience the sudden death of a baby or child.

We all miss our beautiful, caring, loving friend and her adorable happy baby girl Zahra and want to celebrate their lives. We would like to pay our respects and remember them both as they had such a tragic end to lives that were just beginning. We are hoping to raise awareness of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and promote The Lullaby Trust.

**ALL PROCEEDS RAISED TO BE SHARED EQUALLY BETWEEN THE FAMILY OF AMY LANCASHIRE FOR A MEMORIAL PLAQUE AND THE LULLABY TRUST CHARITY; FOR PARENTS OR FAMILIES OF BEREAVED BABIES AND TODDLERS**
