Jacquetta’s Extensive medical treatment.

Hi. My name is Jacquetta Jones. I am 38 years old and I am needing to raise funds for my medical care expenses for treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN(i.e. travel, lodging, bills, prescriptions, etc...) Since the age of 23 I have endured over 60 major surgeries and I am suffering with several life altering medical conditions. Many of my problems started due to a surgery for an anal fissure repair. This was supposed to be minor but it turned out horrifically bad. The surgeons made some bad judgments and gave me a hysterectomy, internal and external hemmroidectomy, a rectocel repair, anal fissure repair, and removed 3/4 of my colon. This started a chain reaction of things going wrong with my health. No other doctors during that time wanted to touch me as a patient because I was a huge liability. To receive treatment and in order to start healing I went to the Cleveland Clinic. By the time I felt well enough to seek out legal assistance against those two surgeons I was told my statute of limitations had ran out. In the state of Kentucky you only have one year. I do feel as if this is an injustice because I am the one who has to suffer not only physically and emotionally, but financially as well. I never wanted to get rich off of a lawsuit, but it is unfair that because of someone else's poor judgement I have to pay the price. Not only that but my family suffers. Due to my outrageous medical bills I have been forced to declare bankruptcy not once, but twice. I suffer from Arterial Venous Malformations(tumors), Cardiovascular Disease with Angina and Cardio Spasms, Psuedo-Seizures, Anxiety, Osteoporosis, Arthritis, and several other more personal conditions. I have contracted MRSA as well as C-Diff from previous surgeries. I also have a blood disorder which cause me to require blood transfusions and iron infusions. Local doctors have done everything within there capabilities and therefore I have been receiving treatment at the Mayo Clinic since 2011. This is very expensive, and I have to go several times a year. I have never publicly tried to raise funding before, but my family has now depleted all of our savings. I am constantly needing various medical procedures, medication, ostomy supplies, and I have a plethora of Dr. appointments monthly. My monthly out of pocket expenses for medicine alone nears $400. I take 21 pills daily and they are all costly. When I need an antibiotic, I have to take Vanco, Difficid, or Zyvox. These range from $400 to $950 per prescription and this is after my insurance is applied. This year alone I have undergone having my colostomy repaired, a bowel obstruction, a hernia, a fecal transplant, the removal of the entire amount of my remaining colon, and a new Iileostomy. It is pertinent that I continue to seek medical expertise at Mayo. Normally the cost is between $3,500 to $4,500 each trip. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
