Help Roben Giasson get treatment for cancer

While trying to compose this message, I'm amazed by how GOD has been working and the ripple effect that is expanding.  I feel so blessed and grateful to help.  

ABOUT ROBEN--

Roben is 52, a wife, a mother of four, grandmother to several grandchildren and also a caregiver for her mom, who is experiencing diminished mental capabilities.  She's known for her positive attitude and strong faith.  Everyone who meets her adores her. In January 2013, Roben learned that she has stage 4 breast cancer that has metasticized to her bones.  She currently has a tumor on her spine that is wrapping around her ribs.  This is becoming more painful as it progresses. Despite her medical diagnosis and responsibilities caring for her mom, Roben is determined to continue working on her online studies (when she feels strong enough) and she will tell you that she wants to manage a medical office one day.  She hasn't given up on her hopes and dreams for the future.

TREATMENT-- 

Roben was accepted for treatment at Cancer Centers of America for treatment starting this week, February 23rd, 2015.  Her husband cannot take time off from his job because they need his income to cover basic living expenses like food and utilities. A family member has commited to driving Roben to treatment-which involves the 3-hour ride to pick Roben up, drive another 4 hours to the treatment center, stay during the entire week of treatment and then the return trip home.  It is possible that Roben will have to make this trip once a month for further treatment.  She will learn more at her first appointment.

DONATIONS--

This funding page was created to help cover medical expenses for Roben and ease the financial burden while she "fights for her life".  Moms usually put everyone else's needs first.  It is very difficult when mom is the one who is down.  We, her family need her to focus on fighting this battle and staying hopeful.  We hope you will consider makinng a donation to help support Roben so she can focus on health, not finances. 

There is power in numbers and together we can accomplish great things.  Let's support Roben's positive spirit and show her that people do care about each other.  While we may not be blood relatives, we are all brothers and sisters on this planet and we all know someone who has been affected by this disease--or worse, lost someone they love.
