Zachary Tonge

 We are trying to raise money in memory of our baby boy Zachary. On the 15th of August 2014 we went for our anomaly scan and our world got turned upside down, we found out our baby had potter's syndrome, a condition which meant he was unable to survive outside the womb, our poor baby had no kidneys, no bladder, no stomach and very under developed lungs due to having no amneotic fluid surrounding him and protecting him. On the 21st of August 2014 i gave birth to a beautiful baby boy at 21 weeks, he looked perfect, so tiny but so perfect we just wish he'd of been perfect on the inside too. In hospital we were given a memory box provided by a wonderful charity called friends of serenity, it had lots of lovely things which helped us make ever lasting memories, such as a memory card to take lots of photos and a hand and foot ink print kit, i also gave birth in a room provided by the friends of serenity especially designed for parents in our situation, the help and care we got really helped us through the most difficult time of our lives and we would like to be able to help others in our position.
