Gemmas Heart

Hello,

   My name is Michael Ludlow and my daughter Gemma is undergoing open heart surgery two days after her first birthday, in less than two weeks. She was born with VSD and PDA and in order for her to develop and live a normal life, or survive at all she must have these holes closed. The problem is that the VSD is right underneath her aortic valve which makes the operation extremely sensitive even beyond the fact that it is open heart surgery. Needless to say my wife and I are barely holding it together by the grace of God. Our insurance can't cover all of it anymore since the healthcare change and the minimum coost out of our pocket is 4000. As it is we live hand to mouth or paycheck to paycheck and if even the slightest thing goes worng with the procedure the costs could skyrocket for us. This also doesn't take into account the loss of work and revenue from my wifes job and any time that I may lose. I'm not sure if this will work or why I am doing this, I'm not sure if anyone cares but our daughter has been the light of our life, including her older brother who absolutely adores her and hes calls himself "Her Protector". I cannot let her light fade from this world prematurely and I will fight until my last breath to ensure that she gets the care that she needs to fix her up properly so she can continue on to bringlight into peoples lives as she has done for us.  Again I don't know if any of this matters to anyone but if you find yourself reading this and decide to help us in our time of need than may God bless you,and know that myself and my family are eternally grateful.
