My brother Andre was shot multiple times in front of his home on 23 November 2013 after being approached by two police officers without probable cause. This led to Andre losing a kidney and adrenal gland, perforated bowel, wounds in his back, buttocks, legs and side. No evidence has been presented to support claims that Andre used a gun to shoot at two police officers. We have an attorney but need assistance from supporters to enable our family to keep him until the end.
Since November 2013, evidence which supports Andre’s innocence continues to surface. During preliminary and motion hearings individuals under sworn testimony continue providing conflicting information about the incident and handling thereafter.
Andre and our family are thankful for everyone’s sincere support.
Next month we hope to move forward with the next phase-Trial.

The prosecutor wanted significant information blocked for use during trial. Attorney Hetznecker, Andre's attorney, wasn't having it go that way. This article tells about the motion hearing. Every step from preliminary hearing in January 2014 through pretrial hearing in September 2014 has shown the lies that have been told. The statements from initial reporting have changed each time. Cost of Freedom
