25th Anniversary Wedding Gift for Long Distance Couple

This fundraiser is for my parents. 

I'm 22 years old and I want to be able to give a gift to my parents which they will not forget for a long time.  When I was 13, we lost our home to a business man in our city who claimed that the land in which our community is standing is his. Until now, he is trying to get the houses demolished one by one in order to build a commercial building. So when he got ours demolished, my father built a shack behind our other relative's house (in the same community) and we live there until now. He tries hard to keep it safe and clean for me and my brother. And my mother went abroad to work. We weren't able to buy a house then because my mom was sending me to college. I graduated last term and got a decent job so I decided to help my mom buy a house. The house is under construction right now and we pay around $250 every month. She pays half and I pay for the other half. 

My goal is to relieve my mom off the burden for atleast 2 or 3 months and be able to pay for it myself -- with your help. I would like for this to serve as a gift to them for their Silver Wedding Anniversary. I would like to make them happy because for the past years since we lost our house, they were never together for their anniversary because my mother is working outside the country to be able to sustain our needs. I know they will appreciate this very much. Times are hard and eventhough I'm already working, we are still paying for the house and for my younger brother's college tuition. 

My goal is just 2 - 3 months for them to not worry about this monthly payment. And they will be happy. They have raised us well despite the challenges and they deserve a break. 

**If there happens to be extra money from this fundraiser, I will handpick another family who are having mortgage problems and donate it to them OR set up a feeding program for the homeless around the city with the help of my friends because we have been planning to do it for quite some time.
