Do you have a passion for children? Are you interested in being part of the world wide fight against HIV/AIDS?
One of my closest friends and I have been given the opportunity of a lifetime to serve in an orphanage near Nairobi, Kenya. We will be serving as live-in mentors and teachers to children orphaned due to the ravaging effects of HIV/AIDS. This epidemic is sweeping the continent of Africa, and Kenya is no exception. It is imperative that the children of Africa are educated and given the opportunity to rise above this crisis.
We need to each raise $8,000 to cover our program fees, donation costs, and flight expenses. Our program fee is due June 1st and if all of our money is raised, we will be starting training on August 15, 2013 in Nairobi. That is less than a year! Even the smallest of donations is an incredible blessing.
Money given towards this project will provide for my program fee, travel costs, and living expenses during our four month journey. We will be using all excess money we receive to support the orphanage in any way possible by donating supplies, etc.

My first official batch of fundraising letters were mailed last week! Also, I am working on establishing a promotional product to take with me to speaking engagements. I am looking. . . . .
