You all know that I graduate from TNCC this December and that I have a passion for traveling. Well surprise, I'm planning another adventure! Some of you may know that I want to go to school for Chinese medicine but over the past six months I've been doing a lot of thinking and I want to put that on hold for a little bit. It has always been my dream to travel and help others around the world but I have always been hesitant about leaving the beaten path. Until now. I'm throwing my fears out the window and following my dreams and I could use all the help I can get. My plan is to take my teaching certificate in Cambodia so that I can teach English in foreign countries. I'll be studying for a month and will then start to look for a teaching position either in Camobdia or elsewhere on that side of the world. I am doing my best to save, which is why I picked up a second job but I'm worried it won't be enough. I know you may be thinking, "why should I help her go on vacation", but this is more than that. With the skills I learn from this program I will be able to teach English to those in poorer countries who need it to better their futures.
Any money I fundraise will go towards living costs so that I may be able to spend more time in Cambodia/Asia searching for a position where I can give back the knowledge of English. If you can help in any way whatsoever, I will be eternally grateful. Please help me achieve this dream of mine!
Warm regards,
Meghan
