I lost my mother last year to breast cancer. Not only was she my mother, but she was my best friend. The one person I looked up to and leaned on through good times and She use to tell me I was a fighter and that I got that from her. Let me tell you, she fought long and hard for her battle with cancer. In the end she ended up losing. But I am going to keep on fighting not only for my mom, or myself, but for evryone else out there.

My goal is to have $2300 in donations to be able to race in Chicago Aug 10-12 in the Susan G Komen 3 Day Race for the Cure. All donations go to the Susan G Komen fund. You can visit their website here for more information.

Feeling sad at the moment that I only have 5 days left to come up with the funds I need to join this walk to fight for a cure for this horrible disease that has taken the life of so many. It doesnt look like I will be making it
