AU$590.00raised of AU$6,300.00 goal goal
GoGetFunding has been requested or required to stop this campaign.
In 2009, after retiring, I fulfilled my wish to go to Kampala at my own expense and with money I had raised from my community in Geraldton, Western Australia, to build new homes for a specific group of orphans, those whose parents had died from AIDS. Most of these kids had also acquired various degrees of the sickness in utero.
I have written some facebook Notes of my experiences in Uganda which you may access by clicking on my facebook link https://www.facebook.com/TomU2 These notes tell the story from the beginning.
The project has seen the restoration of an existing orphanage and the completion of a new building in Kampala, Uganda.
The beneficiary organisation I work with is the Missionaries of the Poor, in Kampala Uganda and Nairobi Kenya, and in fact worldwide. They provide exceptional practical assistance in the vein of Mother Theresa, their patron Saint. Check them out via these links -

They are now commencing another home (orphanage) in Nairobi, Kenya so I am very anxious to assist them again. Please help me to do this.
I am also paying for the schooling of two children, a brother and sister, and I want to support them through to their University graduation.
Why not consider visiting Kampala and Nairobi and meet the Missionaries and the kids with me. You will be delighted!
Contact me with any specific questions you may have about the project. My email is [email protected]
My target is $6300.00 by September 2014 and any amount from $1 is most welcome.
Thank you so much,
Tom
