Fighting Spirit Martial Arts Competition, August 11th 2013

The Australian Poland team, along with other students of Shinbudo and Shorinjiryu boldly signed up to the ‘Fighting Spirit’ competition held at North Sydney PCYC on August 11st 2013.

The competition was held as a fundraising event for the Poland team as well as providing an arena for students to test their skills practised and mastered day after day.

It was great to see such a variety of competitors on the day, a mix of Shinbudo and Shorinjiryu students, a mix of males and females, girls and boys, beginners, intermediate and black belts all having a go. Many trophies were handed out on the day for first and second place for each division and Fighting Spirit medals handed out to fighters showing exceptional positive expression and drive.

The competition was a huge success, with invaluable support from family, friends and fellow students. The support crew did a fabulous day and assisted in all operations running smoothly.

Thanks to all who participated on the day and those who turned up on the day to support.
