Dear all, as you might have read from the last update, I started this walk alone and not with my good friend Riccardo as planned, due to his health.

Today Riccardo left us for a better place. How fast everything happened has been unbelievable and to my eyes unexpected.

His death left something that I cannot describe, as I hoped to be able to see him again upon my return after completing the walk and telling him about this journey to make him feel that he made it with me.

Today is also my son birthday and it was my intention to dedicate the walk of today (29,4 km) to my son Simone and to all of you that I got to know thanks to his initiative on this funding campaign. Along with you, I dedicate today's walk to Riccardo, his wife, his three children and his niece.
