Joel is happy this afternoon. From wheelchair, he is now trying the tilt table. For the first time in almost 3 months of being bedridden, he is able to stand (although assisted and tied with harnesses) for 1 hour. His consciousness is not yet there most of the time but the PTs mentioned that we have to do these exercises so his body and muscles do not waste away. God sends us little joys inspite of it all. When Joel smiles, I begin to feel hopeful again. Thank you for always including us in your prayers. Your prayers and good thoughts are making us strong too!
