Charie and her family are so overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for this medical campaign. We thank you for the kindness you have given her whether encouraging words or financial support, this challenge is easier to face with having this community showing up for her in this time of need.

There is a setback in Charie's condition. Further assessments show that it will be a long road to recovery whether it is looking at the best case scenario for her prognosis or the opposite. Since the last update, Charie has undergone a couple more debridement procedures with another one scheduled on Thursday, November 18th. She has been continuously transfused with several units of blood and may potentially require more in the near future. We have so far been lucky to get help from GSS sis Bheng Jonatas and GSS Brod Rizal Huelgas in securing some units for the most recent procedure and upcoming one. You may also notice that the amount of donations on the actual platform has not updated yet. It is currently tracked and logged in offline donations. The Paypal personal account was created for the purpose of this campaign and the verification process takes some time. If you are interested in donating through other platforms in the meantime, kindly consider the other modes of contribution posted. We have a long way to go before we reach the amount targeted but we remain hopeful and optimistic in this journey with Charie.
