It’s been a while since we have posted an update on Rea’s condition.
It was a difficult time for us in 2020 where we thought we will lose her.

After the immunotherapy stopped working, she was left with no treatment for almost 4 months. This has resulted to her going into severe pain on her tumors all dover her body.
We were very short on finances that we couldn’t afford to send her to the hospital. The experience was so I painful to us. Seeing her in severe pain is heartbreaking. We were even told by the doctor to prepare ourselves to let Rea go. Everyone was in tears. But then again it is the Lord’s will that will prevail. He once again gave us another miracle, He saved Rea again!
She is now on chemo pill daily and has regained strength and the pain is controlled..all thanks to God and the wisdom He gave to her doctors and of course to all of you who have continually prayed and supported Rea.

Her current treatment consists of :
Lenvima (Lenvatinib) 18mg
Afinitor (Everolimus) 5mg

These pills are Rea’s lifeline. But it is a heavy financial obligation on our part, there are times we skipped her treatment cause of lack of funds. PhP238,000 a month is a huge amount to produce.
