The request for a midwife for a home birth was rejected on all levels of health institutions in BiH and the case is currently being presented at the Constitutional Court. This legal action has been going on for several months and the home birth happened thanks to a birth attendant from abroad.

If need be, the next step after the Constitutional Court is the European Court of Human Rights.
