Good news! Ate Karmi is now starting to eat rice which was so difficult for her to do before. She was also able to get a goodnight's sleep and her fever stopped already.

Per her doctors, she still has to stay for more tests and observation just to be on the safe side. They also want to make sure that there will be no fever again. Her doctors mentioned that if everything goes well, she can be discharged on Wednesday and prepare her body for chemotherapy.

Another good thing that happened is her draining is now a complete stop. They have removed the draining tube and gathered 6.5 liters of fluid in total.

Yet another adversity to thump, the father of my sister's husband suddenly passed away. With everything that's happening, we pray that the Lord bless us especially Ate Karmi and her husband with the strength to sail through this backbreaking situation.

At this moment of difficulty, I am respectfully asking everyone that's reading this to extend our prayers and convey our deepest words of sympathy to Val (Ate Karmi's better half) and his family. May God give him and his family strength to bear this great personal loss.
