Hello everyone... I've turned to this site out of pure desperation and sorrow. After me and my fiance (he lives in the US, I live in EU now) waited for his passport for 2 months in sheer agony, the envelope finally arrived. To our great sadness, there was no passport , but there was a note.

He isn't allowed to travel until he pays $19,000 of what remained of his payments for his grown up daughter that he fathered at only 17 (hes 41). He has 3 other children that he is a great dad to and paying regularly, as hes been doing for the oldest for the last 16 years.

One would think that if a person has been always on time and paid monthly, he would have the right to travel, right? No. The extremes the US law goes to, has caused so many of us so much pain and injustice, its unbelievable.

So here we are.. he cant leave to come be with me, and I am not able to go to him . Needless to say, we are devastated. Why is it that money gets to keep a love so great apart ? Life is so unfair.

I beg whoever has a spare dollar to help us pay this off so they release his passport so he can travel and we can be together at last. Please a please !
