My papa had his first chemo cycle last Friday, March 12, 2021. It was a scare because he had an adverse reaction. His blood pressure dropped down and his oxygen level was a low of 89. We were crying, we thought we would lose him. Thank God he was able to go through that ordeal. He still has a low hemoglobin count at 10 grams per deciliter and had a blood transfusion. His creatinine level is a little elevated but can be managed. He has a good appetite and always asks for ice cream and coffee. My papa is a fighter and my sisters and I will continue to work hard to have him treated.
