It was very hard for us to accept that my father will no longer be with us to share every memory, happiness, trials and success. Because of the pandemic he lived alone in our home because he wasn't able to travel and come back here to stay with us because of the total lockdown. He didn't tell us about his ill and what he's really enduring those times. We were very worried about his condition. Little did I know that he has pulmonary masses on his body. I noticed that when he was changing clothes but he never told us about that which caused multiple masses. I did everything to make sure that he will get whatever medication he needs. I messaged every government agencies and officials that would possibly help ua financially because we were broke that time. I borrowed money from my friends and relatives. I know he really wanted to live longer and be with us, his beloved family. He's always positive and telling us that he can win this fight. He still has so many plans for us when he will be cancer free. His mind can, but his body surrendered the day before we are scheduled to go to Lung Center of the Philippines. It was so devastating to see your loved one eaten by cancer alive. When I saw this campaign I know this will help so much of our people to fight their battle against lung cancer. I have no idea about this stuff before so I want to help those people with lung cancer that ia struggling financially because of the cost of the treatment and medications.
