Hi everyone! Just a quick update.. Maxine had her 7th chemo yesterday, her treatment protocol is RCHOP but she only had CHOP yesterday because we wasn't able to come up with the amount for Rituximab. We told her doctor that we can't afford the said med and her doctor was kind enough to understand our current situation but she also informed us that by doing this, treatment benefit will not be maximize. We still went ahead with it because her chemo treatment was already delayed by 3 weeks, normally treatment can be only be delayed a day or two and that's the maximum.

Maxine develop a pleural effusion that causes her to constantly cough and have back pains. Three days before her treatment her onco asked to have her blood works be repeated. She had her covid test and had her lab works done too, which turned out to be all okay except for her LDH test which was high. She needs to have her 2D echo done so that her oncologist can also see/check how her heart is taking all these medications. We are praying that all's well so she can continue with her treatment protocol.

Tomorrow will be back at Lung Center for her scheduled 2D echo so a HUGE thank you for all those who donated here in gogetfunding, Max's account and through my gcash.

It's still a long battle and we do hope we'll be able to raise more funds for her continous treatment and I hope you can all continue to help us out. I know that God will see us through. Will keep you all updated. God bless us all!!
