First I would like to thank everyone that is reading this.

My name is Maximo, I'm Spanish but for the past 10 years I've been living in the beautiful island of Bali. I had a great job and I was doing some charity on my own helping poor families with food, money for rent, finding jobs.

Then the COVID came, silly me I thought it will be done in a few months, what a mistake… I remained here working and helping as usual, then in March I lost my job due to the lockdown as I used to work with tourists. So I started to use my savings hoping the pandemic to finish so I could get back to work, I kept helping people but the money started to finish, and every day is being harder.

I opened a shop online selling apparels on a print on demand website to try to make some money but so far it has done $0, we need money to advertise the products and launch it to a bigger audience so we will have a better chance to make steady money, so a small percentage will go to the marketing of the online shop so I can create sales and maintain this families and hopefully more families to come

I’m writing to ask you if you can support me and my cause and donate whatever money you can. Just a small donation will help me accomplish my final target, $6000.

Your donation will go towards:

* Rental of their property ( most of the poor families rent what is called a Kost, which is a big room a very little kitchen and bathroom, some have 2 separate rooms).

* Food, from cooking oil to rice, noodles, vegetables, chicken, pork, fruits, drinking water...

* Doctors & Medicines from GPs to dentists... Because of the cost most people go to local healers as they can't afford the cost to visit a Doctor.

* Clothes, shoes and toiletries.

* $400 will go to advertise and Marketing of an online apparel shop. With the sales of this shop we will get a steady income to keep helping families in need.

Because of the country that I am there's no help from government or extremely little help… I have been trying to find money anywhere, so we can all share it and eat, pay bills and somehow survive but at this stage it is extremely difficult and every day gets harder, its been days that I have not eaten so kids and elders could have something to eat, it is very hard but we keep hoping that someone can help.

A lot of people have asked me, “why don’t you go home?”

And leave this families? I can’t, I also have two rescue dogs and the law of Indonesia prohibit to take the dogs out of Bali, I can’t abandon them also, they have been my life since my fiancé passed away 2 years ago.

They also asked me “why don’t you get your family to help you?”

My family have their own problems already, Alzheimer’s, cancer, severe arthritis…

My father left when I was just 19 years old.

I am asking to anybody that can help, to donate what you can, even a dollar will be welcomed.

To all the donors I will update you with pictures and videos of the families and how we are helping more families once our shop is up and running.
