First supplies of Oxygen delivered to Malawi's Queen Elizabeth and Kamuzu Central Hospitals in Lilongwe!!

Update posted by greenwell Matchaya

Dear our donors

It is with great pleasure that we inform you that owing to your support, we have today been able to deliver the first set of Oxygen (5 oxygen cylinders) to Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe- Malawi through the Covid-19 treatment centre situation at the Bingu National Stadium. Another set of 5 oxygen cylinders at the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre.

We will proceed with further supplies of PPEs to remote areas of the country in two weeks time. Our anticipation is that since schools are opened, and Covid-19 vaccines are are still generally not available in Malawi at the moment, we can be sure that the numbers will increase again and such PPEs for health workers will be crucial in preventing infections .

Once again, thanks to our donors, there in the United States, the UK, South Africa and Spain for the contributions. In total we we have been able to raise around $ 1300 within this short period we have run the campaign. Without your support we would not be able to do this. We convey gratitude and appreciation from Malawi's department of health and the Doctors Society of Malawi for your contributions!
