We have just received an update from Mark's daughter. The healing in Mark's mouth is doing very well and he has started to regain a tingling sensation on the side of his tongue. This is providing more movement and sensitivity and thus aids with his eating ability. Fantastic news!

Mark has however, developed a nasty infection around the skin graft on his leg. The doctor has taken a swab in order to establish which antibiotics will be the most effective. He is now taking antibiotics every day and redressing the area every day too.

Mark has been advised to rest his leg and keep it elevated to reduce the swelling and help it to heal. This is going to be a long healing process for Mark and his family but thanks to all of your support, it becomes a little easier knowing they are not alone.
