Thank you to everyone who has donated to Nanay's fund and shared this page. Every little bit helps. We received Nanay's hospital bill covering the first three days of her hospital stay. We're now at 108,000 pesos.This bill is separate from the initial admission fee, the Remdesivir doses, and the hemoperfusion and dialysis preparation and sessions that she'll be undergoing.

We were hoping for Nanay to get started with hemoperfusion and dialysis straight away, but unfortunately, due to the hospital being understaffed, she won't get started until Monday next week. This is a worry for us because each day's delay lowers her chances of beating Covid. However, this is the reality of the pandemic in the Philippines, where most hospitals are filled with patients but have fewer doctors and nurses to see to them, because many are in quarantine.
