Dada does a bit better each day.

His stitches are still not out, but Dada sits upright and, with some effort, stands up alone. Taking tentative steps like a baby, he walks unaided. Certainly he needs physiotherapy and prescribed exercise over some weeks, but doctors believe it’s possible to recover his full mobility.

Dada’s vision is improving. He guides others how to cook. After not eating for days, his appetite is returning. Of course, simple, healthy food is all he can have now.

Medications effectively control his blood pressure and blood sugar; however, side-effects make sleep difficult, so Dada is confused at times and suffers from poor memory.

Yesterday, the laboratory took samples for a kidney test to determine the best treatment and medications.

As a result of everyone’s support, there is a big turnaround in Dada’s condition. He realizes he has many friends and has renewed hope for the future.
