13th Sept 2020 - Update

Update posted by Abdul Mutholib Yusop

Baby Wryl's condition has improved in weight and is at 1.352kg as compared to the past few days. His feeding tube has been switched to his nose in order to start stimulating his mouth for oral feeding and is responding well with use of pacifier.

Only by putting self in the shoes of another will you be able to consider what emotional & psychological state that individual is experiencing. The will to bring this child without a spouse, without her family due to CV19 and in a foreign land shows how mentally strong this mother is. When complications arise, who else but friends and the community are to take up those voided responsibilities.

Personally I had seen how my mum went through pregnancy with my youngest sister while I was still in primary school. The sudden faints that happen to my mum especially in public places like malls can cause panic and becomes worrisome. Caring for my baby sister, younger cousins & my friends children continually keep my mind in check on the challenges of raising a child especially when you are a single parent.

Coming from my own point of view we must always be thankful and appreciative of whatever standard of living and situation we are in. There will always be someone more deserving, more troubled, more stricken or in a far worst situation then we are in. Whoever is a donor or had taken the time to share the plight of Rominda & Wryl has my full appreciation & gratitude. It may not be much but every bit of help will mount to the sustenance of this mother and her child. Once again i thank all donors, contributors, friends, colleagues and dear ones for this leap of faith.
