Living self sufficient (on my way to being homeless)

Update posted by Sherri Brasher

Hello, My name is Sherri Brasher. I just want to start by saying thank you for reading this. It very important to me.Through these difficult times my landlord almost doubled my rent from $1,800 to $2,500. Basically I will be homeless soon. It has been so hard before he raised the rent, starting Oct.1st, 2020. I will not say what I want to say about that because as a Christian I choose not to talk about other people. I have a dream and I'm so ready to fulfill it. I've been a single mother for years. My daughter is 26, and on her own. My son is in high school. Also, I'm terrified of being homeless, especially my son being in high school and wants to graduate. Great children! We have been through an enormous amount of tragedies in our lives. Almost lost my son at 5 months, had to have brain surgery, we spent a lot of time in hospital. His father fighting cancer, multiple myloma. I had a broken kneck, plates and screws. 2 shoulder surgeries, pins in my right shoulder. Lost both parents, along with may painful deaths. Mental and physical abuse, recovering victim of domestic violence/abuse. Many tough times. I would love to be self sufficient. Even if it means I have to carry gallons of water to my tiny home everyday. Lol. I would love to have a small piece of land anywhere I can find it cheap enough, and hope for the best. I'd like for myself, and the help of my children to build a tiny home. Also help from friends that could help with some knowledge. I'm extremely motivated. And i would be so grateful for life. Everyday I think about it. Not joking. Any help would be appreciated. Again, thank you for reading this. Sincerely, Sherri Brasher
