I took the plunge and booked flights from Inverness to Johannesburg the other day! Currently all booked in to be with the project from January to March 2021. Obviously this is covid-dependent, incase there are border closures etc.
I'm nervous about travelling during a pandemic, on a plane, for so many hours. But if the flights go ahead then I will be sanitising anything and everything (myself included) and wearing a mask, goggles and anything else to try keep myself and others safe! I definitely wouldn't consider travelling for a holiday at the moment but I believe passionately in the work, so don't really want to keep them waiting longer than is necessary.

I still have ways to go with fundraising. I have an interview for another job this week that hopefully will help with more finances but unfortunately it's still only 18hrs a week, trying to find a full-time job in a global pandemic is a pain! But I'm keeping going, selling off anything I can find in our loft and shed haha. Thank you for all the support so far!
