Peek Cranioplasty

Update posted by Apple Valeroso

Aug. 6 tracheo tube was removed. Aug. 7 they start soft food diet. Aug 18 NGT (nasal tube) was also removed.

He can't speak, his right leg has minimal strength for walking (still needs PT support), and his right arm is also weak.

Aug. 19 Dennis will undergo peek cranioplasty, morning at 8am. Operation will last for about 4hours. The risks of this operation are bleeding, water retention that pressures the brain and infection. He will be sedated and intubated during operation. According to the Surgeon, patients that previously had brain operation has sensitive brain. And effect of sedation depends on his sensitivity. If he wakes up after the operation he will be transferred to general ward. But if not, he will be transferred to high dependency ward (lower class than ICU).

Please continue to pray for his successful operation, complete healing and full recovery.

"Heavenly Father,

I come before you and I ask that you would forgive us of all our sins. I know that we have sinned against you, and you alone; I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. Thank you for your forgiveness and for dying on the cross so that I may be forgiven.

Right now, I lift up to you, Dennis Dela Rosa Dolor. Lord he needs a healing touch over his body. I pray that you would heal his brain, protect him from infections, protect him from complications, heal his wounds, eliminate his discomfort, teach him to be patient, stabilize his vitals and recover his speech and mobility, in the Holy name of Jesus. It is by your stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5).

I thank you in advance for the healing and recovery that is going to take place. Thank you for being the ultimate healer and restorer over our physical bodies. It is only through Jesus Christ name that we are healed.

In Jesus name I pray,

Amen."
